George III should have left the US labeled as “American Colonies” and not the “Bunch of pussies who can’t fight” on the 1775 revision.

Before I became a musician, I wanted to be a cartographer. I applied to two colleges out of high school for a geography degree and didn’t get accepted. So I turned to music because it’s what I knew how to do. But I had been fascinated with hand-drawn war maps from WWII to the fantasy maps of Tolkien. Those are the sorts of maps I wanted to make, and I wonder if I would have been as happy in our modern world of computer mapping. These are all glorious, and I will enjoy searching them. Thanks for the link!

I can entirely relate. I loved maps as a kid, and was very sad when the local map store closed about 10 years ago. I had a project I wanted them to make for me but never ponied up for it.
